On the 22nd December…. managing (just) to post daily in December How are you feeling this year? Definitely not the usual festive feelings, a different Christmas for us all. But big shop done (thanks to husband and a daughter), presents wrapped and under the tree….. apart from a few last minute fresh food bits, and the turkey and ham of course…. think we are set. How is your prep going? Are you feeling festive or festively different? As always I love to know!

On the 21st day of December….. Christmas treats…… my favourite easy make is Peppermint Bark"Recipe" is in my story highlights under Christmas treats. Just melt, bash, sprinkle and chill so not really a recipe! Also love mini mince pies (although don't make my own!) What's your favourite sweet treat at Christmas? Let me know!

On the 19th of December….. a Silent Night music box from Paris Today we had 2 carol services, and birthday too (can't believe I became a mum 24 years ago today!) We sang Silent Night at this evening's candlelit carol service and it reminded me of this music box. We bought it in Paris, in a wee shop near the Louvre about 20 years ago!Do you have a favourite carol? Let me know!
