On the 16th of December…. my first ever nativity set, bought on a trip to London over 20 years ago. I've always loved it's simplicity and child friendly too – all of our kids enjoyed playing with it. I didn't realise at the time that it would be the first of many nativities!

On the 11th of December….an Austrian Christmas pyramid (German: Weihnachtspyramide) – was also known in our family as a Jesus helicopter! My parents bought this for me in Austria about 25 years ago. 6th of December….. the reason for the season. Thanks for all the feedback on yesterday's post – quite a few of you on the same page about the pressure of Christmas and not always feeling the joy.So today I am focusing on the reason for the season – my faith in the birth of a baby who would change the world.I have many (MANY) nativity sets and this set is definitely a favourite.Do you have a nativity set?
