Announcing my St Patrick’s Day Blogging Carnival
The mornings are getting lighter, the evenings or longer, the frost is (almost) gone, the snowdrops are up so……..it must almost be St Patrick’s Day.
Since starting blogging just before St Patrick’s Day in 1997, this will be by 4th time to celebrate St Patricks Day on my blog.
Last year I hosted my first ever blogging carnival to share everyone’s celebrations, and so I can’t wait for St Patrick’s Day again this year.
The plan is that there will be a special post on St Patrick’s Day including a MckLinky where you can share any post you have related to St Patrick’s Day and all things irish. Now it may be that you DON’T celebrate, and that is ok too – just share what you aren’t doing!
There will be PRIZES including some Irish linen, recipe books, digital scrapbooking vouchers, chocolate and even a beautiful hand-crocheted Irish linen item made locally here in N Ireland.
So, hope you will join me, and feel free to spread the word on your blog. If you send me a link to your promotion of this St Patricks Day Blogging Carnival then you could win also win a prize for that too!
Thanks to Gina at Weeds & Wildflower Desgins for allowing me to use her digital paper to create this year’s button, and for donating two $10 vouchers for her store as prizes.
To get you in the mood to celebrate, here are a few items I photographed with my iphone in TKMaxx the other day – first time I have ever seen these here in N Ireland. It seems St Patrick’s Day is become more “Americanized” even here!
Looking for more St Patricks Day inspiration – Tip Junkie has some great ideas HERE.
So don’t miss it – and spread the word, thanks.
