Signs of the times, and a wee "wii" update
My kids have taken a notion recently to create signs on their bedroom doors. With the help of PhotoShop (yes, starting them early) and only a little assistance from me, here are what they came up with. My daughters chose well to match their personalities. My son could not narrow down to choose just ONE…

A New Year, a new camera and a new lens
For Christmas I upgraded my Canon to a 500D (and my 400D/Rebel xti went to a good home, didn’t it Sheila?!) and today my new lens arrived. I know little about lenses and their various attributes but was looking for something which would be good in low light. This lens was recommended (thanks Dave) –…

It was so good to be back on the beach this morning
After my father-in-law’s funeral it was so good to be back at the beach, breathing in some sea air. We headed to White Rocks – practically desserted- perfect!

Beach Walk
This morning, before heading to our favourite resturaunt for lunch (1608 in Bushmills) we went for a walk on White Rocks Strand. We are now home from the cottage, and mostly unpacked. I have made it to Day 46 of Project 365. I am now caught up with my weekly summaries – here are my…
