Family Trip to Florida Part 7 Animal Kingdom
We have just pasted the half-way point of our holiday – and loving it!
On Saturday morning we headed to the Florida Mall for those who wanted to spend some more dollars! (I didn’t spend anything!)
We also managed to meet up with another bloggy friend, Laura, who drove up to meet us for lunch. Uncharacteristically I forgot to take a photo 🙁
The rest of the day was spent in Animal Kingdom.
It of course features the Tree of Life.
Soon after we arrived, we had our first Disney daytime parade of the holidays.
Next it was safari time. It was a coolish day, so we were very fortunate in the range of animals we managed to see!
More of the Tree of Life
I love this view of Everest Expedition, but no-one was tempted to ride it!
The Lion King Show is one of my favourite Disney shows.
A few photos with Mickey, and some autograph signing.
Then time for home – although I really enjoyed walking through the park as it was lit up at night – a very different atmosphere.
Another day over – more Animal Kingdom and another bloggy friend and liquid nitrogen ice-cream in my next post!
Hello JM
What a lovely LOVELY holiday. I’m sure you used your “real” camera for these shots, they are fabulous. What beautiful memories you’re making, and it feels like we got to come along.
Travel Safe, my friend. Will catch up with you soon, I’ve been sooo busy with church events.
BIG HUGS,
Barb
