I have made a number of layouts since my last entry that I would like to share with you.

First here is a CT layout is using Little Seeds No.3 Showing Love https://http//weedsandwildflowersdesign.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_5&products_id=50 by Weeds & Wildflower designs. It is of my 2 younger kids and a friend’s 2 kids having fun on the beach one evening.

Secondly, here I used Lara Payton’s Dainty kit https://http//www.dustybear.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=288 to re-do the Waiting for Dad layout. I particularly loved the rusty curled wire with the flowers attached.

More layouts later, but first some of what we have been doing on our holidays, This weeks highlights have included:

A wonderful warm day spent in an empty little cove with great rock pools and views of the spectacular coast line. We had only intended staying there for a few hours, but it was so peaceful and sheltered, we had our BBQ lunch on the beach too.

I found the new craft shop I mentioned in my last post – and hope to return for a beginners scrapbook crop, and maybe even their monthly crop if we are up here at the right time. I was able to buy a number of products I have read about on-line, but never seen ‘in the flesh’ so to speak. I have also made a number of small memory books which they introduced me to. I am always on the look out for ways to physically share my digi-layouts, and these little books will be perfect. I don’t have access to my printer up here, but here are a few examples of what I have made so far. They are so simple, but would make a great alternative to a birthday card.

Over at Portstewart has been Red Sails week – a festival of activities including a fancy dress parade and fireworks on the last night with a spectacular backdrop of the convent/castle overlooking the sea. The highlight for Sam however was the fire engine, which he got a chance to sit in. I have nearly finished a layout of him in the fire engine, and should post it next time.
We have done very little ‘paid’ activities this summer, but we did take the girls for pony lessons on Sunday. The girls now know most of the horses, and this time they got Snowy and Angus.

Here are a few more photos of the kids and friends enjoying the high tide one evening on Runkerry strand. In the first pic you may spot that Sam has fallen over – didn’t stop him from going back in though!

Last week our local television station had a programme about the top 10 best places to visit here in Northern Ireland, as voted for by the viewers. Here they are, in reverse order, how many, if any, have you heard of?

10 Mussenden Temple, Co Londonderry
9 Lough Erne, Co Fermanagh
8 Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Co Antrim
7 Cave Hill, Belfast
6 Stormont Parliament Buildings, Belfast
5 Scrabo Tower, Co Down
4 City Hall, Belfast
3 Harland & Wolfe cranes, Belfast
2 Mourne Mountains, Co Down
1 Giants Causeway, Co Antrim

Maybe I will do a layout of each one, or at least share some photos. A few I have already included in this blog.

Finally, a few more layouts. I have made some more progress with my ABC brag book using Celebrating Color by Weeds & Wildflowers. Here are my latest offerings

I struggled a lot with N – decided to include a number of words instead of chosing! Do you have a favourite? – let me know.

As always, I love your comments, and please take time to sign the Guest Book if you can. Thanks.
