Still remember going there as a child. There was always a problem parking. My father drove a lovely Humber Hawk car, and so, as we approached the Hall carpark, he would don a black peaked cap, and we were instructed to sit quietly on the back seat. As he drove to the entry gate, he wound down his window, doffed his peaked cap, and was instructed to go to a reasonably-unoccupied area!
Great memories Harry!
