44/365 Tulips on my kitchen window sill – promise of spring on a wet wintery day

Today was a glorious sunny day, and remarkably warm for April in Northern Ireland. We spent the morning on the “wee beach” as it is know in our family, in Portballintrae. The kids spent a lot of time searching for shells, particularly my eldest daughter. The water was very calm, and the tide quite low….

Our youngest child just turned 9 – hard to believe next year he will be in double digits (he pointed out it would be 91 years before he was in triple digits!) Here are NINE things I love about him ….. – his enthusiasm for life – his thirst for knowledge – his infectious laugh…
