Back to School …..or First day of School really!
I managed to catch my live-wire son in a rare moment of calmness and contemplation on the morning of his first day of Primary School.
This week the I Heart Faces theme is “Back to School” , and although (as usual) I have lots of photos of all 3 kids, this is the one I have chosen to submit.
He actually looks quite daunted and nervous in this photo, but let me assure you, he bounced into the classroom with a grin, and immediately started to play without even a backward glance towards me.
Later in the week, he told me he loved his new teacher lots and lots ….. as much as a cheese sandwich!!! Yes, coming from my son, this is high praise!
