On the 11th of December….an Austrian Christmas pyramid (German: Weihnachtspyramide) – was also known in our family as a Jesus helicopter! My parents bought this for me in Austria about 25 years ago. Probably my most unique nativity….. it spins when the candles are lit. Do you have a Christmas decoration you treasure? Do share!

9th of December…. a simple nativity and a garland on the top of our piano (and warm white fairy lights of course!) You can see more of the piano on my stories (it dates back to 1899!)

On the 8th day of December….. some Christmas reds! We haven't put up our more traditional tree with mostly red decorations but I do love traditional red ️In other news our second born arrived 22 years ago today! Birthdays are a bit different now that she is away at uni in Scotland but look forward to celebrating with her soon ️
