Irish Blog Awards and Ladies Tea Party 2011
As the Irish Blog Awards were being held in Belfast this year, and as an Etsy Ireland member I was contributing towards the Ladies Tea Party goody bags, it seemed a perfect opportunity to meet some fellow irish bloggers. I came home with this trophy and tshirt much to the delight of my son!
Both the Ladies Tea Party and the Award Ceremony were held in the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
Photos on the day all taken with my iphone, so sorry for the useless quality.
There were delicious cupcakes by Life is Sweet and the wine and food were sponsored by BagGlitz. (a unique way to keep your handbag safe and secure when you out)
These are just some of the ladies, the rest arrived after the photos!
All the ladies received lovely goody bags – here’s what was in mine:
Thanks to the following for my lovely bag contents :
BagGlitz
Chiarrai Creations
Nice Day Designs
Huggleknits
Edward James Hair & Beauty

On to the awards, presented by RTÉ 2FM DJ Rick O’Shea
There were lots of great foam props, and some freebies “shared” with the audience.
Congrats to all the winners

I have certainly added a few new blogs to my blog reader, and suspect I may have an increased interest in the Irish Food Bloggers Association!
That looks like such fun! So glad that you were able to participate. Carla
Wow what fun!
Yay! You are a lot quicker than I am in writing about the Ladies Tea Party! I am doing an article for Etsy Ireland tonight, but now am off for a spot of knitting 🙂
It was great meeting you at the Tea Party!
Hi Janmary, Just stopping by to thank you for visiting my SITS day post(s) last week. That list of blog award recipients looks intriguing. I’ll have to visit a few. I’ll also have to visit your etsy shop! Cyberspace has so much to offer!!! See you again in the blogosphere…
How cool – absolutely fabulous!
