Portbradden – a hidden gem and a surprise!
About 10 days ago, while up at the cottage before the predicted squally rain showers arrived, we took a wee drive down to Portbradden. It is a small cluster of houses and a harbour, with parking for just a few cars. Do you remember I shared the cattle on the beach at White Park Bay…

The great detail of the woodwork seems to have remained unchanged in the 65 years that my memory serves me….
It will be changing soon Harry – there are plans to reconfigure the front of the church – organ, choir box, pulpit, communion rail etc – will retain as much of appearance as possible. Work scheduled for later this year.
