On the 9th of December….. another nativity (a mini one this time!). We bought this little wooden one in Bellagio, on the shores of Lake Como. I love to find unusual Christmas decorations on our travels, and if it is a nativity then that’s a bonus!

Do you love or loathe Christmas sweet mince pies? I’m somewhere in the middle ….. I’m usually not a huge fan of baked items full of dried fruit – Christmas cake and Christmas pudding …..no thanks! However the combination of a small amount of the sweet mincemeat and some lovely crumbly pastry (especially when warmed)…
