22 December – the stuffing is ready and the table is set
Today has been a day for “getting things done” – I love those sorts of days.
Definitely feeling a bit festive around here, still some snow lying around the garden, and even the occasional flurry of flakes falling outside.Β
I have made my super simple stuffing this afternoon.
Kids are watching a Christmas movie while “creating” something for George, the cat, out of cardboard.
Last night we were invited over to friends, and enjoyed a very civilised evening of chat and delicious food.Β Of course my camera came too, so I am able to share some of her lovely Christmas decor too.
So Lessons Learned this week
I LOVE nativities (have you seen my Nativity Blog Carnival, if you have a Natvity Set it is not too late to join in)
I LOVE mince pies
I love cute babies in Santa hats
I LOVE carol services have attended EIGHT carol services – I think that is a record even for me!!!
I LOVE the snow – we don’t get much here, and it never lasts long, but while it was here I got to visit the park and take some photos.Β The snowman was NOT made my me!
I LOVE Christmas!
Have you learned anything this week? Share it with Jo-Lynne at Musings of a Housewife.
To all the other Lesson Learners out there, and all my other blog readers and lurkers, Merry Christmas to you and yours.
That’s my plan for tomorrow, getting things done. I love mince pies too and will be making more tomorrow. When it comes to mince pies I eat them until I feel ill, then I eat another one and I never learn:) Your friend’s decorations are lovely. I’ll have to post some photos of my tree, in all its tacky glory.
Your pictures are beautiful π I hope today is a day where I can get a lot done! Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Thanks for stopping by my blog π xo, KA
I love Christmas, too. I love all the gatherings and the sharing and the loving. The songs, and the bells and the candles. I love the special ornaments and remembering who made them and when. I have some handmade ones that were made by friends who have gone on home and they bring them to mind. I love giving and making other people smile. Most of all, I love that I know the true meaning of Christmas and have Jesus in my heart all year round.
Blessings,
Mama Bear

I love Christmas as well! However, I can’t say the same about mince pies or carol services; I’ve never had a mince pie and I don’t know what a carol service is! Merry Christmas and God bless! π
