I took a wee trip down the road to Castlewellan today, to visit Claire, owner of Blue Beans gift shop. There is now a new selection of Janmary Designs jewellery : bangles, pendants, keyrings and more for sale there. Blue Beans is a lovely gift shop, always full of unique gifts, many from local artists….

It was so good to be back on the beach this morning
After my father-in-law’s funeral it was so good to be back at the beach, breathing in some sea air. We headed to White Rocks – practically desserted- perfect!
8 December – a winter walk on the beach
A break from Christmas-themed blogging with a quick walk on the beach this morning. My daughter turned 14 today, and yesterday I took her and two friends up to the cottage overnight to celebrate. That gave me the opportunity for a wee walk on the beach this morning. I love the beach any time of…
