On the 19th of December….. a Silent Night music box from Paris Today we had 2 carol services, and birthday too (can't believe I became a mum 24 years ago today!) We sang Silent Night at this evening's candlelit carol service and it reminded me of this music box. We bought it in Paris, in a wee shop near the Louvre about 20 years ago!Do you have a favourite carol? Let me know!

6th of December….. the reason for the season. Thanks for all the feedback on yesterday's post – quite a few of you on the same page about the pressure of Christmas and not always feeling the joy.So today I am focusing on the reason for the season – my faith in the birth of a baby who would change the world.I have many (MANY) nativity sets and this set is definitely a favourite.Do you have a nativity set?
