Back to School
We have now had 2 weeks of being back to school, and everyone is “back to porridge” (I have always found that a weird saying!). All the books are covered, the uniforms labelled, and most of the consent forms appear to be completed, but I am sure there are still a few lurking around.
As my daughters get older, they are less keen to be visible on my blog, so the only photo I will share today is of my son, now entering Primary 3 here.
Here is my photo for the I Heart Faces weekly photography challenge.
As you can see, he is delighted and proud to be in Primary 3. Hopefully his teachers will be just as enthusiastic to have him in their class!
Do you enjoy having the routine of school term time back?
I have mixed feelings – I love the laidback relaxed schedule of the summer, but I also enjoy the routine of the school activities.
Glad to see your little boy is happy to be back at school 🙂 It’s sometimes quite nice to get back in to the normal routine I think.
Hi JM,
Ha – that pic is hilarious, can’t help but feel joyful having seen it.
School’s return – in our household that looks different as its my Mr. who returns (and me after a few weeks visit with my in-laws) I too have mixed vegetables on this one. I love the fluid days of summer and all that goes along with it but on the other hand I especially like some semblance of a schedule.
I still fondly remember first days of school, new clothes, crisp mornings, meeting new teachers or being welcomed back by familiar teachers but tackling a brand-new year.
Thanks for the reminder.
