Back from the cottage on the north coast. Had a lovely relaxing time. I did bring the laptop with me, but as I didn’t spend too long on it, honest. Did create these 2 pages, and did some categorising on Adsee. However, it is a good thing we have no internet access up there, or I may have been tempted! So what did we do?
On Saturday morning went to be beach at Portrush, East Strand, made sandcastles and played with the kids. Saturday evening we met up with family for my father-in-law’s 70th birthday. Had a great evening, and a beautiful meal.
Yesterday we went down to the Giant’s Causeway. Sam and the girls enjoyed exploring the rock formations. Sarah and I took the cliff path back to the car, which included over 150 steps (we counted!). It was a beautiful day, with amazing views.
This morning, after packing up the car, we went to Portballintrae, and Runkerry strand for a walk (or stagger in Sam’s case). It was sunny but very windy, so we returned to the car by the sand dunes which was much more sheltered. We saw the steam train on its’ way to the Giants Causeway much to the delight of Sam.
So home again, unpacked, uploading layouts and updating this blog. Hope you all had a good weekend too.
