Deborah and Don’s Wedding Day – Part 1
On Friday we attended the wedding of our friends Deborah and Don. A lovely couple and for whom we could not have been happier. Here’s how we do a wedding in Northern Ireland!
Here are a few images from the day (in 2 parts as it is image heavy!)
Deborah being walked down the aisle by her eldest son.
Some of the flowers on the church windows
and at the front of the church
(loved the unusual cabbage leaf (?) foliage)
After the service, at the front of our church, Don and Deborah with her parents
Deborah with Allison, the bridesmaid
The back of her stunning dress
More photos were taken inside the church after the ceremony
Then tea, cupcakes and shortbread were served in the church hall as the reception was not until later.
It was a chance for a chat, and of course more photos
Bridesmaid and daughter
Bride and eldest son
Then off in the Rolls Royce (which used to be Simon Cowell’s apparently!)
For more photos of the Reception, including some unusual wedding favours, you will have to wait for my next post.
Do you have a favourite image of the day so far?
