You might imagine this is a post appreciating Christmas, the lovely gifts and yummy food. Happy times spent with family and friends. However tonight my appreciation is for something more basic yet essential……water. The cottage was without running water for just about 36 hours but simple things like brushing your teeth or boiling the kettle…
The title of tonight’s post is also the title of the book which was launched on Friday evening. Beyond the Edge is written by a lovely friend called Hazel Rolston, and the book is wonderful. I promise I am not just saying this because Hazel is my friend…..honest! The book takes us through Hazel’s journey…
Not sure how long this blog will be – having ‘issues’ with internet connection! This is Mr Fox – he comes to visit every evening, and seems very relaxed about being seen. Stops by the window about 8pm, and has a look in, before continuing on his walk, then returns later, and usually spends some…
Sharing my daily iPhone photos on my blog
Next week school stops for the summer for my 3 kids, so the school runs, homework, packed lunches, mountains of notes and announcements……are all stopping. Instead we will have lie-ins early morning wakening as usual (my kids don’t DO lie-ins..YET!), go-slow days, trips to park and beach, and hopefully this warm sunshine will continue. CSSM…
