My First Workshop – An Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking

As part of my new venture JMDigitalDesigns, a group of friends asked me to arrange a girls night at my house to introduce them to the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking. They all enjoyed it, and each person left with their own photo in a quick page, and a little insight into digital scrapping. Maybe I will be able to share one of their own layouts soon!

I was also able to do a bit of ‘market research’ on them, which has been helpful in moving my scrapping business forward and everyone took home a few business fliers –

So on to some new layouts and what else has been happening.
My son was 3 on Friday, and I made this layout, using Denim and Lavender by Pat Christensen at Weeds & Wildflower Designs and the Playing With Wire Alpha and Doodles by Gina Marie Huff at Weeds & Wildflower Designs.

Here he is with his sisters and his cake.

My Dad had his birthday on Sunday, and here is a card I made for him.
I also made him a mini album of my parents cruise this summer, using In The Groove album by Shabby Princess.

Over the weekend we met up with both sides of our families and went out for meals which was lovely.

Finally a layout of my daughters, taken on Saturday, using a huge collaborative kit called Second Spring available at FPD. I mostly used the products by Gina Marie Huff and Chere Kaye. It is great that the colours in the kit are a perfect match for my daughters’ new outfits – especially the hat!

Thanks to everyone who left a comment on how they celebrate Halloween – I loved reading about how things differ around the world. If you haven’t commented yet – there’s no time like the present!
Take care until next time
