On the 10th Day of December – a Christmas nativity or three….
Today/tonight I am sharing a few more from my growing Christmas nativity collection.
This year I have a cluster on the top of the piano.
I appreciate these perhaps paint a cute and cosy picture of the nativity, whereas the reality of the manger and the birth was not so pretty. However, I still like to include these nativities in my collection, to remind us that Jesus is the reason for our celebrations at Christmas.
In other news, we all survived the chocolate party (including the fountain) and tonight my daughters are attending a Masquerade Ball (a party!) and both look MUCH older than they should!
Come back tomorrow, for more Christmas/December blogging.
Thanks (and feel free to leave a comment – hint!)
Hi JM,
Whew, sorry I’ve missed several posts till now. My head is swimming. Tonight will be all about putting my “list” together, yep, you read right – I have not even BEGUN my Christmas list. Ah, the Lord is in control and it will be as it should be. Feels very strange though.
I love seeing your decorations – I have yet to bring mine out, see I decided to paint my front room and had to finish that before I’d allow the deco to come out. All is finished though and ready to be festive-fied. (my own new word!)
I am going to try to visit you each and every day from here on in. Thanks for sharing.
Love,
Barb
