Lessons Learned – Hats, education and faith
A bit of a mixed bag of lessons learned this week. First, because I love the photo, as they say “If you want to get ahead, get a hat” – who said that anyway? While checking out a local craft fair last week, my daughter chose this gorgeous hand-knitted hat. A bargin at only £6….

Thanks to everyone who nominated Janmary Blog in Section 5 – Best Blogger, because I have been shortlisted in the top TEN! Eeeek! Thanks for all the nominations, your work is almost…
On the 2nd of December….
As part of my daily December blogging I want to share some of my many nativity sets (and there ARE many!) This is one I picked up in the January sales for just a few pounds. It is small and sweet. For our family, remembering that Christmas is about the birth of a baby who…
Twinkle, twinkle
This nursery rhyme has been a one of the first ones each of my kids sang to themselves, and always reminds me of sleeping babies. There is nothing as beautiful and peaceful as watching a child sleep. So when I saw the word art included in this great new cardboard Super Stars kit from Gina…
St Patrick’s Day Parade in Belfast 2011
This morning, as has become my tradition since I started blogging, I went into Belfast to photograph the St Patrick’s Day parade in Belfast. This year I chose a vantage point of just opposite the City Hall. There was lots of colour, both in the parade, and in the watching crowd. It is the…
Lessons Learned – glasses, supermarkets and church family
As usual, my lessons learned this week are a bit of a mixture, but first I want to share my daily photo. We have a large ceanothus bush at the front of our house. I love the masses of blue it displays at this time of the year.OK – on to the lessons Contrary to…

Same here, sweetie. I like it better than Coke Zero. Love the shot! It’s beautiful 😉
LOL That looks like my Day 25! My MIL only drinks caffeine free diet Coke. They’ve been coming over to renovate some stuff around our house, and she’s been bringing her own pop. LOL
Great picture with the light hitting the can just on the side. This is a favorite pop with the kids in our house.
Oh, I love a Coke! Of course, I’m adapting to the Southern way of drinking one, which is with a lot of ice! 🙂 I don’t think I could handle it straight from a can anymore! I love your digital scrapbook pages. Your pictures alone are amazing, but I like your layouts. I’m in the process of switching over to digital (scrapbooking) now and I’m wondering what software you use? I’m only familiar with Creative Memories software, since I used to be a consultant and most of my friends use everything CM. But I know there have to be other good programs to use. Is there one you’d recommend? Thanks! 🙂
You are doing so great with your commitment to project 365. That is going to be one priceless album!
This is great! It goes with my close up of coke in the glass! Awesome lighting with this.
I`m a coke girl my self, but I go for the real stuff*lol*
Great shot!!!
Used to be a straight up Coke guy until DW introduced me to Diet Coke. But gotta have the caffeine. And I’m proud of you for the commitment to the 365 project – I stopped the third day!
