A touristy morning in Belfast
Not one photo of the day but five!
Our friend arrived this morning from Bristol, and we headed into Belfast to see some of the sights. We went first to Victoria Square, and it was a beautiful clear day with great views of the Belfast skyline from the Dome at the top of the shopping centre.
There are some great victorian buildings aroung, including the Jaffe Fountain.
On to St Georges Market where the farmers market was happening. There was a great bustle and atmosphere with lots of food to sample and a jazz band playing.
After enjoying some delicious hot chocolate we walked over to the Waterfront and along the Lagan River.
I have made a montage of 4 of this morning’s photos.
I hope you have enjoyed your morning in Belfast, come back again soon!

Your photos are beautiful. My daughter and her hubby and two of their friends are going to Belfast next weekend on a mini break. She’s looking forward to the trip as she’s never visited before.
You very nearly make me miss working there everyday. Not quite though, I’m enjoying myself at home.
You didn’t get caught in that storm today while you were out?
