19th December – the party is over
The party for my 12 year old is over, and we survived – the chocolate fountain (a HUGE success!)
(served with marshmallows, mini doughnuts, jelly babies, grapes, strawberries and fresh pineapples)
the FOUR crafts – phone charms; Christmas snowflakes; candles; decorated clip boards
Not forgetting the chocolate birthday cake, and the 6 friends from school.
So 12 years ago today my daughter arrived, 4 weeks early, and my husband and I became parents for the first time.
Here she was then just minutes after the c/section………. she lay quietly, staring at me intently ……… wondering what in the world had just happened to her…….. and she wasn’t the only one!!!!!
And here she was this evening.
that chocolate fountain looks good 😀 …when i use mine the chocolate goes lumpy and doesnt really flow :L does anyone have any tips on what chocolate to use 😀

Don’t those years go by too fast?! So unfair! LOL
I sounds like it was an awesome party!
Stopping by from SITS!
I love the expression on your daughter’s face – priceless. I remember my 12th birthday even though it was over 30 years ago… I went to Farrell’s Ice Cream with all my 7th grade girlfriends.. my youngest will be 12 in February – the fastest 12 years of my life.
Love to you and yours – Merry Christmas!
