Belated Lessons – That Summer Feeling
My giveaway for a stretch canvas print of your fave summer photo ends TODAY (thursday) at 10 pm – click here to leave your comment.
This week’s belated lessons learned
- Never a good idea to NOT take off a 4 year old’s socks and shoes when walking on the beach, the inevitable will happen!
- The annual medieval summer fair at Dunluce Castle was as enjoyable as ever, and the views of the coast from it’s walls as stunning as ever. The Castle has a fascinating history, including the night of a great storm in the 1600’s, when part of the kitchen (and servants) fell into the sea!
A £6 ($10) kite, and a windswept beach keeps my husband and kids entertained for a significant period of time.
- I (still) LOVE digital scrapbooking, especially when as a Creative Team member for a designer, we get the kit in advance to “play with”. All 3 of these layouts of my 3 kids on the beach were made with the one kit – That Summer Feeling.
Both winning them (yippeeee!) and sponsoring them. I have just finished making the two bracelets chosen by the winners, Donna and Dorci. Congrats to them both – parcels will be dispatched soon.

I definitely plan to do more giveaways in the future, but if you can’t wait, visit my Etsy store where you will notice there is still FREE SHIPPING in July 🙂
