Missing Blogger Alert!
I am here, back again, did you miss me? …don’t answer that!
As usual, without planing in advance (and I am definitely a planner/list type of person) I have managed to take another bloggy break.
The kids have started back to school, and this MAY have something to do with the fact that I have today found made time to blog!
So here is what I COULD have been blogging about :
REFRESH (aka STRESS according to my son) – an fantastic hectic 3 days of events for kids who live near our church – morning, afternoon, and evening – with over 70 primary school kids and over 60 teenagers.
Making Chicken Stock in a Crock Pot – perfect for the planner/list type person who gets engrossed in making jewellery that she forgets to make sure there is enough liquid in the stock pot – I love that you can ignore a Crock Pot for hours, and it will still love you and provide you with delicious food!
Some new jewellery items I have created for JanMary Designs
Some more of my purchases from our Cape Cod Holiday
Some of my purchases using my birthday money
So, is there any of these you want to know more about, let me know in the comments and I may just blog about them.
Otherwise, we shall put this wee blogging blip behind us, and I promise to blog a bit more regularily…..well, I’ll try!
I think I’ve mentioned before that I live and die by my crockpot in the fall and winter months. I wish life could be like my slow cooker – throw a bunch of stuff in it and it takes care of itself without supervision and comes out tasting delicious.
Glad you are back! Carla
yes you were missed!!!
ok here goes –
I want to read about
what you purchased w/ birthday money
what you purchased on vacation
your new additions that you made
your chicken receipe
did i leave anything out?
p.s. I think your son would love my gravy too
it’s lumpy as well!!!
I know how that happens. Life, I mean. And it is fine if we have to miss blogging occasionally. I’m happy to see your post and love the photos of the children.

Oh I want to know it ALL! Ah yes, I said ALL. But you don’t have to do it all in one day. No no.
Do you know your children are brilliant and beautiful? Your son’s photo at the bottom is amazing. What is it with boys and bugs?
Sounds like you’ve accomplished much, and your priorities are correct, your family is first!
You’ve inspired me to bring my crock-pot out this coming week, the weather is supposed to cool down and it will be a welcome diversion from summer-ish dishes.
