My 50th post! What makes a house a home?

I can’t quite believe it, but this is my 50th post! (Maybe for some of you it seems like more!)

Been a normal Monday. School runs, a grocery shop with my toddler (more fun for him than me), got some laundry done, did some packing for our holidays, took the girls to tennis, picked them up from tennis, made tea (chicken fajitas this evening) and did a little bit of gardening.

The latest challenge for the Weeds & Wildflowers CT is to scrap about our favourite place. For me it had to be our holiday cottage on the north coast of Northern Ireland. I had already taken lots of photos of those little bits and pieces that I have decorated the cottage with, and took some exterior pics last weekend.

So I am not sure if it works, but I have combined a shadow box with a triple cluster. I also did a lot more journalling than usual. Let me know what you think.

Kit used Coming Home by Heidi Williams of Weeds & Wildflowers Design at ScrapArtist. Shadow Box by Amy Teets at ACOT. Triple cluster frame – a freebie by Welli Designs.

Beautiful new kit just released by Lara Payton at Dusty Bear called By The Sea. Here is a peak –

I am sure I will have lots more beach / seaside photos by the end of the summer, and it will also be great for those heritage/vintage family photos I have. Check out www.dustybear.com/shoppe for more info.

Hope your day was good,

Take care.
