My Morning Sunshine
My son is such a morning person, so full of energy and smiles, even first thing in the morning. This is the face that greets me each day.
How can a mother resist a face like that?!!
As January is now complete, I have both my layout for last week, and my month’s summary to share.
If you have been playing along with Project 365, how have you found the first month?
I have really enjoyed it, much more than I thought I would. I am sure there will be moments I regret challenging myself to this, but the great collection of memories for our family at the end of the year will hopefully make it all worth while.

Love your weekly layout and monthly summary – I can’t believe I stuck to this for the whole month, so I’m hoping it’ll be as easy for the rest of the year 🙂 When I put together the weekly layouts and journal a bit about our days, I can see that this will be an amazing memory keeper!!
I love your son’s red hair!! He is so handsome! The entire time I was pregnant with both of my daughters, I kept hoping one of them would have red hair. No such luck! One had hair so black it was almost blue and the other was a blonde!
I can see why he is your morning sunshine with that big smile and shiny face. Great picture. January was wonderful; the whole family is involved in helping to choose the picture(s) to post. My regularly camera-shy family is not so camera shy–even the cat posed. It’s a lot more fun than I ever imagined to take pictures and to see the blogs from around the world. I feel like I am privileged to get a peep into global families. I’m just wondering what to do with all the pictures that didn’t make the cut.

The project has given me lots of fun, but I can not say I actually tried to challenge myself to make difficult photos yet….
I love your new blog header. I have been really enjoying the challenge of taking a photo a day. Its nice to look back over the last month and have those memories in picture form. Hope i can keep it up. Love your layout for last week and also your monthly page.

I’m enjoying the 365 but I need to take more photos that mean something to “me”. I’m getting far too caught up with learning technique. I’m thinking of starting something just for myself, a photo of toots every day for a year, even the ones when she’s in a grump. I may start on her birthday in April and get a whole year from birthday to birthday.

Your layouts turned out great! I’m really enjoying the challenge and learning as to how I’m doing the layouts till I find out what is best for me. It will be interesting to see what we end up with at the end of the year (but I don’t want it to go too fast).

Do you build your scrapbook pages by hand? or digitally? I haven’t tried digital yet and just wondered. I love the way you incorporated all the photos. You’ll have 12 awesome, quick-shot overview pages at the end. Great job!
How could one have a grumpy or bad day seeing this merry little visage? He looks like mischief and fun through and through. I bet he is a pet to the big sisters!
