Cherry blosson and jewellery display

A short post for today.

First some cherry blossom from a neighbour’s garden. I love cherry blossom, and the weather forecast is for some strong winds, so I took the opportunity to photograph it for Project 365 before it is all blown away.

My Show and Tell this week is my Mother’s Day gift from my kids (which was last Sunday here in UK). As I was shopping with my daughter in my favourite shop Avoca when I spied it, it was hardly a surprise when I received it, but I love it!

I love that it is tall, so my necklaces can hang down without trailing on my dressing table, and they don’t get so tangled with each other.

All the jewellery shown on the stand I have made at my jewellery evening class at the local arts centre. I have completed 7 weeks now, and I really enjoy it. Every week as well as learning a new technique we create a new piece of jewellery to wear.
