Children are Energetic and Funny, and a birthday card

So here are a few more for my ABC book, continuing to use the wonderful Celebrating Color (yes – I know it should be Colour, but as the creator was American, I suppose we can forgive her!) by Gina Marie Huff from Weeds & Wildflower.

They are both of Sam – I better do some more of the girls next, or it may turn into a book only about Sam. Firstly Sam on Portstewart Strand last May – it is one of our favourite beaches, and we almost had the beach to ourselves that day.

Special thanks to Doxie Designs for her lovely free cluster frame – the link to her blog is on the right.

Next is Sam, again! I think those are Barbie sunglasses he is wearing.

Finally, my father-in-law will be 70 this weekend, and here is the card I made for him:

Kit used – Creating Beauty by Weeds & Wildflowers

Triple frame from Papyrus by Lady Jane Design
Torn cardboard from Denim kit by Miss Vivi

Got a busy few days ahead, Sarah singing in the school choir for next 2 evenings at a concert in the local civic centre. We have a bankholiday weekend coming up, so looking forward to getting away, and of course a family celebration for my father-in-law’s 70th birthday.

Take care

Hope you find your diamond, but you are so correct when you say that a ring doesn’t make a marriage.

  3. I just love the ABC book you are doing. I especially like the white backgrounds. Makes the rest of the LO pop. And your father-in-law LO is stunning. I love all the elements clustered in the corner with the photos running down the side. Great job!!!
