He’s a super SEVEN!

It’s hard to believe, but our youngest has just turned 7!

Here are a few images of how we celebrated….a has become our tradition, the family presents were opened on our bed.

e still had to go to school, despite it being his birthday (he was not impressed with that). He had a cinema trip with friends last Saturday, but he had a cake to bring in to share with his class.

My parents took us all out for tea to celebrate. The birthday boy really enjoyed playing with a DS in the restaurant (they provide portable dvd players and nintendo DS’s for the kids if you wish), and my dad, who almost shares the same birthday, and shares the same name as my son, got an ipad for his birthday – you can see him in the background!

And my daughters enjoyed teaching their Papa how to use his new ipad

Here are a few digi-scrapped photos and pics of our son –

Age 5

Age 6

I head to Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, as part of a Trade Mission with Lisburn City Council to promote my janmary designs jewellery. I am also staying on for my first ever bloggy conference, and a bloggy friend is flying up from Florida to meet up – can’t wait!

Off to do some more packing! I’ll try to fit in another blog post before I leave, but hope to blog while I’m away too, so please come back soon!

Take care,

  1. Yikes, I’ve watched your fun feller grow up! It has been a privilege to be able to share in the sweet wonderful boy he is. Thank you so much. I fear the time will come that he too will not want his photo here. In the meantime we will soak him up. His smile always brightens my day – all the way over here.

Happy Birthday to you Father as well – he will love his ipad and I see no lack of instructors for it…

JM, I have been lifting your journey/adventure/business in prayer and I continue to do so. I look forward to God doing good things on this side of the map.

    All the best for you,
    Love, Barb
