The kitchen continues, and we go to the beach

Did you miss me yesterday? I took some photos in the morning, then left the camera at home so my hubby could continue to document the destruction of the kitchen.

Here is how I left it yesterday morning,

and here is how it looked this morning before my husband left home to join us for the weekend.

I was surprised to see how few signs of spring there are here, compared to at home. The cottage is only 60 miles further north, but it is quite exposed and only a mile from the coast. Here is the tree right outside the cottage.

This afternoon we all headed to Runkerry Strand. It was sunny and blustery, and the kids loved exploring the beach, and chucking stones into the waves.

We found an egg-shaped rock (!), which the kids plan to paint. I don’t think they will accept this as an alternative to a chocolate egg somehow.

On the way back over the footbridge, my son asked to play Pooh Sticks and “rock sticks”!

Finally here is another layout using Life is Good by Weeds and Wildflowers Designs, of my pirate daughter from earlier in the week.

OK you are up to date, but come back soon for more Project 365 daily pics, and updates on the kitchen makeover.
