On 24th December…..twas the night before Christmas
Well, the food is prepared, as much as it can be.
There is a HUGE turkey waiting, having been Gordoned!
The table is set
We have had our Christmas walk – for the first time I can remember in lots of “proper” snow!
New pyjamas modelled
The Advent Candles have been lit, and a carol sung
We have read “The Three Trees”, and “Twas the night before Christmas”
Santa’s snack has been left – milk and home-made mini mince pie this year (sorry, port is not being offered this year apparently)
Reindeer Food (oats and glitter) has been sprinkled on the front steps and lawn to assist Santa on his way
Only TWO presents are missing – have hunted everywhere for two items I ordered for my daughters from Amazon, which arrived in time, and were hidden in some clever place…..if only I could remember where!
Wishing you a Happy Christmas, wherever you are.
what happened to the Port?
I had to laugh about the hidden present…I shop all year and tend to discover something in January that was supposed to be for Christmas then just save it until the next one..can’t do that when little ones are expecting something special from Santa….loved the black and white photo…we are having a rare white Christmas morning, also…Merry Christmas Day to all of you.

I am so glad that I am not the only one who loses gifts before Christmas. One year I found one of my misplaced gifts a month later. I told my daughter that If she cleaned her room I would give her a surprise. She cleaned her room and received her gift. She never knew that it was meant to be for Christmas! I sure hope you found yours much quicker than that! Carla
hidden presents… yeah I know this…
Like your christmas traditions and all your beautiful shots about it!
Enjoy these days
