On the 3rd of December ….. it snowed
Today, after a long week of ice and freezing temperatures the snow finally started to fall again today. Not a lot, but enough to make the cars struggle in our street, and enough for me to get out in the garden with my camera.
The birds were glad of our bird feeders but no photos yet – you have to believe me when I tell you there were blue tits, chaffinches and sparrows. Hopefully I will have some decent photos of them soon.
Tomorrow we are looking forward to relaxing and celebrating the end of the AQE / transfer test /11 plus replacement for our middle daughter. I wonder what will be in place by the time our youngest is in P7 in 5 years from now.
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
Do you think I can keep us this daily blogging in December? Time will tell!
oh yes you can!
The pictures are lovely! Enjoy your snow! Carla
We’ve had a lot of snow this week, too… Well, 10 inches, which seems like a lot to me. Looking forward to a special tea at a local church with my daughter, and then a Christmas concert at our church Sunday night. Blessings!
we are freezing here too – 32 degrees for florida people is down right cold!!!
Enjoying your post’s once again!
You CAN do it! You can you can!
You have more snow than me, than we. I missed a good opportunity at a shot of the cedar waxwings swarming a juniper yesterday, was just not quick enough.
Hope your day is relaxing tomorrow!
Love,
Barb
Cold but no snow yet down in the valley here in Tennessee, USA. Keep up the blogging – we’re doing the 25 days of Christmas – 25 posts for the holiday season!
