On the 4th of December there were blingy beads and homebaked goodies
This morning the final AQE/Transfer Test/11 plus took place (yeah!) so my daughter can celebrate and relax.
This afternoon I was able to go to my monthly beading club – this month the projects were a bit more bling-y than usual.
As well as the beading and the chat, one of the highlights is always Karen’s baking, and this month she excelled!
There was a shortbread tree
Rudolf Cake Truffles
Mince Pies and Brownies
also a chocolate roulade and some brie/cranberry/filo parcels – all home made and delicious.
We did actually do some beading
Here is a selection of what we made
And here is our lovely tutor, Rachel.
Thanks everyone for your comments so far in my quest for daily blogging in December – it is lovely to see some “old faithful” visitors as well as some new visitors.
Come back tomorrow to see what I’ll be blogging about, as I don’t know yet either!
Ok, if I make enough at my digital designing I can actually come over there and hang out with you at these amazing and fun events, right?
Does your friend have a recipe for her incredible cookie tree? How I would love to create this for our Church Christmas Dinner? Can you grovel to her for me please? I won’t share *wink*
How fun!
Love, Barb
