On 5th December – Seven Superb Crafter Stalls in Northern Ireland at St Georges Market
Last night and this morning our Christmas decorations went up – hurrah
Thanks to my parents coming over to take out the kids, I got time to myself to explore both the St Georges Christmas Craft Market and the Belfast Continental Christmas Market.
There are so many gorgeous creations to share, but for this post I am now going to focus on my top finds, with links where possible. They don’t all have websites (yet!) but hoping to have some further contact with them ….. so watch this space!
A beautiful selection of handmade items using natural products, materials and colours (website coming soon)

Tent Recycling into Fashion – Belfast Rain
I love this concept – recycling tents into trendy and practical skirts. Also brooches, bags and other amazing creations – check out the site.
Scarves – Triangular Weaves
Beautifully soft hand woven scarves in lovely colours and fabrics. I SHOULD have bought the scarf that matched my new coat, and of course I now regret it!

Right beside the scarves were these amazing funky boots/christmas stockings. So fun and totally impractical!
These were great funky products which can be personalised (a bit like the way Crocs can be) with cute images and the entire alphabet. Products included keyrings, bracelets, necklaces and brooches, made using recycled and recyclable material – another purchase I regret not making! Although not hand-crafted, I could not resist featuring them in my top 7.
Beautiful selection of products, all hand crafted, and most with gaelic words subtley placed on them. Very high quality, and I really fell for the wee sleeping bunnies.
Although everyone I feature did not have websites I have all their contact details and if possible, I will try to arrange some giveaways or product reviews of some of their goodies, how does that sound?
So, what did YOU do today?
