Parsien Flower Market

I love to visit local markets when on holidays, and Paris was no exception.

The flower market was in more permanent buildings than stalls, and there were more plants than cut flowers but the colours and sweet scent were a delightful mix on our first morning in Paris.

We had enjoyed breakfast outside a little cafe near Notre Dame, and after exploring the cathedral we went of in search of the flower market.

Here are a selection of photos from that morning.

If you can cope, there will be more Paris photos coming to this blog soon!

We have been enjoying lovely weather the last few days, and it is to stay warm and settled over the weekend. Church picnic on Sunday afternoon, so hope the forecasters are correct!

Enjoy your weekend wherever you are.

Take care.

  3. Ooooo, more lovely photos! I especially like the flying buttresses, the buckets on the fence, and the flowers. Beautiful!

In response to your comment on my weight loss post, WW here in Canada has the Core or Points programs, too, but my materials from when I was a paying member are all 5 years old ~ before the Core program had been ‘invented!’ So I’m just sticking with that. I’ll have to check online to see if I can get a little more information about how the Core program works. Maybe a combination of the two would actually be best for me.
