Disneyland Paris Day 2
We were able to go on the Carousel, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Pinocchio and another turn on Buzz before 10am!
We saw an Les Tam Tam African drums show, and it was hilarious when they chose some victims from the audience.

Today we had plans to head out to Glenariff Glen, one of the 7 Glens of Antrim, to visit the waterfall, and probably take a photo or two LOTS of photos. However the rain, hail, thunder and lightning persuaded us otherwise! Instead we stayed home, and the kids asked if we could build a fort………..and why…
OK – the chances of it snowing here soon are quite remote, as it is quite mild and we never get much snow, but it is the title of this layout, using Weeds & Wildflowers wonderful christmas kit – A Wildflower Holiday This is from February 2004, when quite a lot of snow fell in…
So here is what I learned this week That my son believes he can persuade some birds to come and live in his meringue nest! He ran around the garden with the aforementioned meringue nest shouting “Here, birdie, birdie….come and live in my nest – it is so yummy”! Even the addition of a dandelion…
Have done very little photography, blogging or digital scrapbooking for a few days now. Photoshop has been misbehaving on my laptop, which has been more than a bit frustrating. Finally a layout to share, using more of Katie Hadfield’s lovely digital creations. The on-line photography course continues, but one of the challenges was to take…
I love postcards, especially old ones. I have inherited a box of old letters and postcards from my grandparents which make fascinating reading. Since we got our holiday cottage I have been on the look out for old postcards of the local area, and here are a few on display at the cottage. I find…
Evening everyone. Today Sam (age 3) and I went for a short walk to post a letter. It is amazing the things you find that interest a 3 year old on a simple walk – these included berries (red and yellow), a digger, a lorry, a for sale sign, a post box, a cat, a…

It has snowed and chucked it down here all day you’ll be gld to here. Glad you’re enjoying yourself and getting some time on your own.
Your photos are fantastic! You make me really wish I was there too!
As for the book order clubs – I know exactly what you mean. My kids have unread books from them too. If you’re a mean mommy then so am I! 🙂
Looks like it was a great trip and great photos to show us, yeah!!
I think the pictures of our kids (and us too!) with the Disney characters are some of our most treasured. We have to see a picture of everybody in Mouse ears!

Wow, I wish I could take my kids there before they get to old. Or do we ever get to old?

Sounds like you’re having a great time! Wishing you the best of fun on your vacation!
What a wonderful adventure for your family. Wish we could have done that when my kids were little. But they are all still kids at heart….hhhhhmmmm….gets me to thinking.
I am loving your Disney shots! Thanks for posting so many. On my page – The Shadow of the Cross – I have made and posted an award for your blog :O). It is a Buzz Lightyear Award (I see you’ve been on the ride twice and you’ll probably end up there several more times.) This is a piece I hand paper-pieced the old-fashioned way, with tiny scraps of paper, scissors, and inks. I used a scanned shot to make your blog award. Go to my sidebar and pick it up. (I’ve never done this before, so hopefully it will work.) Thanks for having such an awesome blog and for sharing it with me! I look forward to reading your posts every day. Have fun at Disneyland Paris!
Woohoo!! Love all of it! Gorgeous! I can’t wait till I’m at Disneyland next Tuesday…The Happiest Place on Earth!
I was viewing these last night on my iPod touch while in bed. I couldn’t wait to come see them full screen on the computer this morning! I’m glad you’re having a blast!
