I’m Back!

Did you miss me?

Did you even notice I was gone?

I have received a few messages, wondering if I had fallen off the planet, but I just had a bloggy break.

So what’s been happening? Well, I have just had the most wonderful weekend over in Bristol (in England, in case you are geographically challenged), catching up with lots of old friends, and a few favourite shops too!

The main reason for my trip was a 40th birthday party, for a special friend who made our year in England the great experience that it was. The party was a great opportunity to catch up with lots of my friends. We were requested to wear a silly hat or silly hair. Here is the birthday girl, and yes those are real candles on the hat/cake!

In case you doubted me, these are are the candles once LIT! Not 4o candles though, as the world has enough problems with global warming already.

On Sunday morning I spent a glorious 2 hours on the Downs, and at the Clifton Suspension Bridge. It brought back lots of wonderful memories of flying kites with the kids. The Downs are this amazing open space, with walkers, cyclists, kite fliers, football matches, dog walkers etc. I cannot think of a similar space in many cities.

And of course, as usual I took lots of photos of the suspension bridge. I only had my point and shoot camera, and have not edited the photos at all, but here are a few to share.

I got an award!

Nominations will have to wait for another day, because today it’s ALL about ME! (just joking…honest!).
