New layouts, and update on George

Ok, will start with the important stuff – an update on George.

Finally, one week after his mis-adventure with another cat, when George was found wounded after a fight, he was discharged from the vets. His intial injuries would have been enough for him to deal with, but he had some further complications at the beginning of the week. I began to wonder if he would pull through, but he is healing up well. One day when I phoned to check up on George, the nurse said he was purring while she held him for his injections – so I knew he was on the mend! His stitches and catheter were removed this morning, and the vet said he was “good to go”.

He was collected by our lovely neighbour from the cottage, who is going to keep him up there for some peace and quiet (and sea air!). She has already emailed us a photo (see below) of him making himself comfortable and looking none the worse for his adventure. It will be great to have him home next week and thanks goodness for pet insurance!

So on to some layouts

This is a “Double page” layout for a wonderful challenge at The Meadow, the blog of the Weeds & Wildflowers CT. There is a great prize for all who enter, so check it out. I used Heidi’s kit Warming Hearts.

Next a layout using some of Chere Kayes‘ great products from Funky Playgound Designs, including a great Cord Alpha available from Monday.

And finally for now, and I continuing to get bookings for my Digital Designs and I created this layout for an 80th birthday with lots of input from the daughter.

That is all for now.

Have a great weekend, both to my friends “in the real world” and by “digi” and “blog” friends too.

Take care
