Voting and daily bread – a great combination

So the voting is open for just one day, and if you feel so inclined, you could vote for me for the Awesomest Blogs 2009 just by clicking on my blog name over at the following link HERE, for photo blogs and for overall blog. Not expecting to win, just would like not to be “Norah-no-mates” without any votes!

Some clever techie people have managed to include the voting list right on their own page, but despite numerous attempts I can’t quite make it work!

Later there might be a blogroll up of all the blogs, so it would be a great opportunity to find some new blogs.

My photo for today is this

This is the first time I have baked bread in my new oven.

Before you are TOO impressed these were the total ingredients, and it mixed together in only a few minutes.
I had a friend over for lunch today, and I must say I impressed even myself by how easy it was, and how impressive it looked, smelled and tasted when served with my homemade vegetable soup. The soup and bread were followed by a fresh fruit salad – fresh pineapple, raspberries, blueberries and melon.

A few digital scrapbooking layouts for you – over at Weeds & Wildflowers, every 2 weeks you get the chance to post up your weekly summaries and as long as you use mostly Weeds & Wildflower products then you will get the next bonus kit FREE! It is a great incentive to stay up to date with my daily photos and weekly layouts.

Finally, because there is always a finally with me…..I sold another bracelet today! Someone at my son’s swimming lesson had complimented me on one I was wearing last week, and asked me to bring along any I had for sale.

She actually chose this one – Atlantic Blues, but don’t worry, more will be up in my Etsy shop soon, and I also take customized orders if you have any special requests on beads, charms and style.

Take care, and don’t forget to vote!

Thanks.
