10th day of December I’m dreaming of a (red &) white Christmas

Today I am dreaming of a red and white Christmas kitchen!

Following last year, and the story of roasting the turkey with the help of a broom shaft and the long awaited kitchen makeover, I have been anticipating decorating our kitchen with even more enthusiasm than usual.

I will let the photos do most of the talking:

Some jingley bells and gingham ribbon to welcome you in.

So festive words

A heart tree

Decorations on the kitchen cupboard handles

A tree with it’s own Nativity Set (don’t forget to join in my Nativity Set Carnival on 21 December – button in the side bar)

A Christmas cake, ready to eat (what would we do without Marks and Spencers?!) – as only one member of our house enjoys Christmas cake, he tends to start eating it before Christmas, or it will never be finished!

In the background you can see the “kids” tree in the family room – but that will have to wait for another day.

When you see all the details in close up, there appears to be a lot going on, but as this more general photo shows, actually it is quite subtle (I hope)!!!

So do you have and Christmas decor in your kitchen? You know I would love to know!

PS Don’t forget the charity auction for my Celtic Mist bracelet is still on-going.

Come back tomorrow for more!

  5. Great. Now I have to run out and get cute little ornament things to hang from my cabinet doors. JM! Stop posting pictures and making me think of stuff! I don’t know if I can afford the time or money to continue coming here.
