Live the life you’ve imagined

Doesn’t that sound like an inspiring blog post title? It is actually just the title of a new layout I did for a quote challenge at Elemental Scraps.

Here is the layout :

My other layout is yet another page for my ABC book. Usually when I start creating a Layout the basics comes together quite quickly, even though I may work for a while adjusting the finer details. This one, however, was a real struggle, and I started over several times. Finally happy with it, but hopefully the next one will be more straight-forward.

As to the rest of my life – busy as usual. Since I last posted, I was at a concert in the Grand Opera House in Belfast. Really enjoyable – a friend from our church was performing her first solo concert there.

The kids were singing in church on Sunday as it was the last day of Sunday School before the summer holidays. I did my best to keep Sam (age 2 and a half) entertained in the balcony, but just before the service started he dropped his half-eaten apple from the balcony down to the congregation below. Forunately he didn’t manage to hit anyone, but I was convinced he would try to repeat this new trick later in the service.

George (our new cat) is settling in, adjusting to life with 3 inquisitive kids, and has already found a few quiet spots in the house where he can get some peace if he wants it. He does seem to enjoy being able to doze undisturbed in the evenings when the kids have gone to bed.

Think that’s me up to date. Thanks for the new comments in the visitors book.

Take care.

  2. This LO is delightful another simplicity that gives it elegance with just the right amount of color in the photo to make it pop.
