A quiet afternoon

This photo about sums up our day!

George (the cat), by son and I all had a relaxing afternoon while my husband and daughters went swimming. Every week or so, my son needs to take an afternoon nap to “catch up”, and I probably need him to as well!

Eventually, after sleeping for over 2 and a half hours I woke him and the two of us went for ice-cream. As you can see, he really enjoyed his, and even tolerated a few photos.

So what have you been up to today? Let me know.

I promised a digital scrapbooking layout yesterday, and this is it. It was to help advertise a scrap-lift challenge over at The Meadow, the blog for Weeds and Wildflower Designs. It continues until April 19th, so be sure to check it out – the winning layout will receive a $10 gift voucher for the Weeds store.

Take care, and keep commenting (please!).

I am off to watch the next edition of The Apprentice on BBC1 with Sir Alan Sugar – love that series!

  1. It has been SO long since I scrapbooked! This whole digital concept is still new to me. Are you telling me that these lovely pages that you always include in your posts aren’t actual pages that you had to cut and lay out by hand? They’re digital? Surely not! Wait. As I type this comment, I see the little digi-scrap button right beside me. I think I’ll investigate that now!

That scrapbook page is beautiful! I haven’t done any scrapbooking in so long, I need to get back to it . . . and a million other things.
